One that has been involved in Combat has endured unique and hard to explain physical and mental trials. This collection is based upon actual photos taken during Vietnam combat operations in 1968. This period is known as TET 68. This attack by the North Vietnamese Army and Viet Cong represents the most severe fighting during the entire war. These photos were taken throughout the 25 Army Area of Operation by ACTUAL COMBAT SOLDIERS NOT PHOTOGRAPHERS! Several of these Soldiers Became Casualties during future combat operations.
Because these photos were taken by those actually involved in the operations. We have done everything to maintain the integrity of the combat conditions. The images have not been manipulated in any manner. Whatever is on the negative is in the picture. So if you are looking for professional photograph quality, these photos are not for you. I was fortunate to receive negatives of these photos from a friend of mine. He collected the photos as a History of TET’68.
